Thanks for the nice words, folks. Not the introduction I would have preferred, but always glad to join a thriving and good-hearted community.

A bit about myself-- lifelong Chicagoan, in the cycling industry since '91, road cycling was the first love but I'll still rip on the MTB on occasion, embrace all manner of bikes but love the mid 80's- mid 90's euro steel/parts, of course I own several bikes and am currently building a '95 Bianchi TSX Ultralight frame with a smattering of old (where I can) and new parts. I look forward to mining some of the knowledge here when necessary, but mostly interested in talking shop and sharing passions.
