I have an apparently bomb-proof Nashbar Ultimate pump which could easily be 20 years old; I have no recollection of when I got it anymore. I dunno if L'Orange or Earl Grey are built the same (mine has a dual valve hole, autoselecting lever-lockhead), but I wouldn't hesitate to try one of those for the money based on my experience with their pumps.

I actually have a Taggio Pro pump head on it now, which works quite handily, though the hose clamp is awkward. I'd like to have a better, less coarse looking way to secure the barb in the hose, but maybe the newer ones have addressed this, I dunno.
