I remember distinctly that the bunk gxp bb's coming with them had a transparent sleeve while the better bb's had a black sleeve instead.

When my red blackbox ceramic gxp grenaded itself on a climb on the roadie, I ended up "temporarily" replacing it with a one parted from a new set of omniums while my chris king replacement came in.

What was supposed to be just a week turned into 4 weeks after my CK bb color got backordered and subsequently LBS staff forgetting to call me about it arriving. That was early last year and nearly 3500+ miles later, the same BB is still going strong without any maintenance while the CK that was supposed to replace it is sitting on the shelf.
I can't speak to differences with previous iterations but I have also been using the black crankset which came with the black-sleeve BB.
