Yes it is and it hooks up with the M2 making it a real good slog. It's just awesome for us westies. It's actually completely independent of the road on the M7 but there is a road shoulder cycleway also. Of course all the real roadies will use the on road shoulder but the offroad cycleway at 4m wide, is quite adequate and because it also follows the natural terrain it's harder with plenty of 'undulations'.
All we need is a few late' stops and it'd be perfec.
