I do have a set of the Tourney on the Miele. I've run them for a few years now and they work just fine. The thumb lever isn't an issue with the style of riding I do.

Thanks for the info. I speed most of my time on the grips. So I'm not concerned about either style. I would like to jump to brifters , without a lot of out lay. So, looks like I'll try a set. KB
