I had inguinal hernia surgery last August. I needed the oxycodone for 2 days. After 2 weeks I was hot get back on the bike but my surgeon said 6 weeks - and my wife was there when he told me - so there was no way to get out sooner.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Just keep this thought in mind. When you're ready to get out on the bike warm weather will be back.
