Bought this beater Raleigh Record just for the Wrights saddle. Then decided to keep the bike and convert to my first single speed store runner with 700 wheels. Thanks to Ryan and Scott at Esperanza for the help and knowledge, and especially Jerry for beating that cotter into submission! Still need a chain, better seat post, brakes and cables. Will probably just put the Wrights back on after reconditioning. Sounds like a crispy potato chip now. Can't find a serial anywhere on it to figure out the year, but it has down tube shifters which was not normal for the Record.
