They put in a new bike lane, and then make it impossible to use. First, there was some blockage at 2nd St. due to building construction, forcing you to merge on a street that is now far too narrow into the crush of cars approaching the meat grinder intersection at Houston. Now that they've managed clear that blockage, they've completely blocked the entrance to the lane on Christie crossing Houston. It's absolutely unclear what a bike is supposed to do, since you're going against traffic at that point. And you do have to keep an eagle eye out for drivers, who try to bludgeon their through intersections, while pedestrians have the light.
