That's not too bad. Try breaking a pedal axle quarter way into the morning commute. Then having to pedal with the single leg again on the return trip. Also scratched the hell out of the shoe on the broken axle side. Was using the nub to rest my foot on, but its easy to slip as you would guess. Yeay.

I should mention that if you need to walk on your cleats daily (even if its a litle bit), then you probably should be carrying and using cleat covers. Having said that, I have yet to follow my own advice...
