Bob, you can drip a small amount of oil at the spots where the leather is rubbing, for a temporary fix. Likely culprits are the nose hardware (tension shackle) and the skirts contacting the saddle rails. If the thought of a petroleum product touching the leather gives you palpitations, you can melt proofhide/other leather preservative for the same purpose.
Over time, it will silence itself, in my experience.
