In other words... some dude riding a $2,500 Trek Fuel with full suspension is less likely to look down and smirk at someone who rides a hardtail entry level $500 Trek with a Suntour fork.
In my experience, there isn't a lot of interaction between people driving cars and MTB riders out on the trails.
Not to say a city bus will Never hit the black-diamond trails ... just never in My admittedly limited experience.
