This (part of) tour is now complete.
Fredericton saw a wet evening. The next day waiting for the weather to improve, I pulled my bike inside a Laundromat. Dried my sleeping bag, and a few other things. Visit the bike shop, etc. Ended the day with a nice Steak Panini, and some chilly. The next day I had a rather short 90km to Saint John, where I expected to overnight, be a tourist then catch the ferry today (Wed). Be darned, I find the terminal to inquire about the fare/loading times. Get on your the last before we draw up the ramp, done!.
A few shots of sights along the way. Especially sobering was a road side monument to (Andrew) a cyclist that lost his life on #7. I stopped stood the sign back up, cleaned some of the litter around. You hear about it, but to see the carnage, reality.
I landed in Nova Scotia, called my sister with my success. They drove the 90 miles to pick me up. I had a pie, and rode out on the #101, where they found me. A wheels-off tear down to get it all in the SUV.
Sure nice to get to family again, and a nice bed.
3563km, in 39 days. Not a race, but my saddle fits nice, ha-ha. Tomorrow my dear Ride with get some love.
Hope in some small way this has fuelled others to ride somewhere.
Thank-you for viewing.
