UPDATE: After testing it on a kitchen magnet, it turns out the sensor isn't as sensitive anymore and I had to move the spoke magnet a little bit closer now to the sensor. Believe it or not, I also did the pencil eraser technique, as suggested by Bill, used it on the mount contact and it now works fine (I think it also somewhat helped).
