I think you are talking about size, not brand. There are several sizes that is celled 16" in bicycle tyres and rims. The most common one is the size that is used on most 16" childrens bikes and most 16" folders, like the Dahon Curve. it is called 305

The Brompton use a 16" size called 349

There is no way those two can be used on the wrong 16" rim. Maybe the tubes if you are in serious trouble but I would not count on it.

If you want to buy tyres and tubes for any bike just look at the side of the tyre for the right size. Then order that.

There is tonns of info about tyres and tyre sizes for Brompton on the net. Searching is much quicker than asking.
So finding spare tires and inner tubes for a Brompton in bike shops and hardware stores is much harder than for most other 16 inch folding bikes?
