This does not surprise me one bit after seeing the frame angles, fork crown and lug combination. I once owned your bike's brother, badly photographed here -

and its serial number was like this -

I also owned a '74 PX-10LE, also badly photographed as seen here -

and its serial number is a similar treatment, though done even more crudely, after painting, and with oriented 180 degrees away from the earlier one -

Somebody, somewhere, has to know what the deal was those two years. Has anyone got a known 1973 Peugeot PX-10 with the more traditional 72 degree angles to compare to these?
