Had a great ride, pulled into the garage about midnight, 36 miles. Lots of wildlife on this ride, couple dozen deer (some running across the road about 40 feet in front of me), two raccoons right along me in the road. Saw all that before dark. Missed the tavern stop, place was closed at my far-point town. Made do with a vending machine break.

So I averaged 10 miles an hour total millage/total time. I putter around a lot on these rides, stopping at many points of interest (spent 5-10 minutes petting a stray cat outside the grain elevator)... I think I pace at about 14 mph when I am actually moving.
