I kept my Free Spirit stock for awhile but then started to have some fun by changing a lot of components. I would try lots of different CP brakes or side pulls too. Upright handle bars, flipped for scorcher look and drop bars as well. Did the 10 speed, 5 speed and SS drivetrain mods. Never felt like it was a heavy bike. Handling was stable and tracked straight as an arrow. The welding was never top notch but it had class with the white fenders with gold stripes and the red, white and blue decals.
