""Lake Alpine, CA…Caltrans will swing the gates open past Lake Alpine at noon tomorrow to open Hwy 4 over Ebbetts Pass for the summer driving season. The snow has been cleared, 300 tons of rocks have been dynamited and removed, roads repaired and they are ready to go. Great Job Caltrans!!! Getting it open before Frog Jump will allow even more visitors to our area…""
