Bikes: colnago titanio oval master, pinarello treviso es, centurion prestige, tomac ti 26er, lemond buenos aires, mbk 753, vitus 992 and zx1, rocky mountain hammer disc,bd century titanium, specialized venge expert

These are all under 20, but they required light wheels, carbon forks and cranks, and modern components. I have a pinarello Montello es steel with an aluminum fork and 8 speed campy 8 speed setup that weighs about 21. My vitus 992 with c record and zondas also weighs about 21.

Truth be told, there is a point of diminishing returns. Nice steel and good light stiff wheels make substantially more of a difference than a few pounds of static weight. My ride times with those are comprobable to that of my sworks aerotec with sram red that comes in at 15.5...but I feel substantially less beat up riding steel.
