All the soft parts of the seat were gone eaten by rats I suppose and tons of rust with just a hint of the original blue paint and a part of a Los Angeles City Bicycle License tag. No head badge or screw holes chrome capped front fork, 2 thin top tubes, and seat stays that look like they fit into an eyelet which loops around the seat tube. Long chrome chain guard has rear fender but the front is long gone. Something is compelling me to fix this thing up. Looks like old 26 x 1 3/8 rims with a sweet German Komet rear hub with the chrome in serviceable shape as well as most of the other chrome. Ideas, comments, or info welcome. I've also considered just clear coating the rust and sanitizing all the bearings and running gear sort of a patina bike but the jury is still out on that.
