Rescued a set off an old TREK 412 frame somebody gave me, they looked like Hell and didn't clean up very well but they still work like a dream. I gave the frame to a young man who wanted to build a vintage steel road bike. He sent me pictures of it when he was done, made me really glad I passed it on to him, he did an excellent job.
Used the Cyclones on an old Bianchi Classica I built up using mismatched and cosmetically challenged parts. Looks like a refugee from a scrap pile but rides just fine.
I've had rounds of investigations about these rear derailleur s attachment bolt. Ours are different in that respect. I need to use mine with a claw but wonder if one style is better then the other when attached to the claw.
