It seems so far-fetched that I even doubted myself when I wrote this review http://www.bikeforums.net/18358767-post1.html but I checked it again later. Heavy wheels, heavy tires. I cut more than a pound off just by swapping tires ... tho I have the old ones back on it now ... figured from the start that I'd eventually get a new wheelset, but I haven't got around to it yet.
