M8-1.0 bolts or rod?
I'm trying to press new bearings into an old Gary Fisher Mt Tam. I'm having a local machine shop make a couple of "bushings" to press the bearings properly but they are not interested in making a bolt. I can't find any threaded rod or bolts in the M8-1.0 threading. M8-1.25 is readily available but not the 1.0 pitch. Will probably need nuts as well.
If necessary, I can probably put it all in a vise and press together but would rather pull with a bolt.
Any leads or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
