Yes, they are almost certainly cyclcocross references for the most part, as Alan (aluminum) were popular cyclocross frames, though many champions' bicycles were rebadged. It is worth noting that the 1986 pro cyclocross world champion was Albert Zweifel riding a Gerber, which was a rebadged Alan. Given that this isn't listed on the decal would make me suspect you have a 1985-1986 model, as the the Cyclocross World Championships are typically held early in the calendar year
Interesting thing is, Lucho Herrera was riding the Carbonio frame in the 1984 TDF for the Cafe de Colombia team,..... maybe as a production prototype?
