I'm another allergic to wool. It was never an issue for me growing up and my mom knit me many sweaters, but a few years of acetone and fiberglass resin changed that.

I do have one wool jersey I wear occasionally; a classic Italian style long sleeve black Raleigh jersey. I wear it for very long winter rides when I can isotale it from my skin with one or more thermals. (It is an acrylic/wool blend. I have mixed feelings there. Not 100% the good stuff, but it holds it's shape and does far better with weight in the pockets that the 100%.)
