BRONZE WOOL! Yes... that is the ticket! Combined with some Quick-Glo polish, this stuff is magic. Doesn't scratch the chrome, and not only gets the clear coat off much, much easier than my previous methods, but takes care of the small rust pitting as well as the tinfoil-water method. Had to order it from Amazon as neither the local Home Depot or Lowe's had it in stock.
