I've got the Trek Incite 9i and am very happy with it. I just got a new bike for Xmas and got a 2nd 9i so I could have a different computer on that bike.
I originally had a more expensive Cateye and the instruction page (yes "page", not "book") was written in very, very poor english and impossible to decipher. And it only worked half of the time (skipped quite a bit) until it died completely after about 6-8 months.
Incite should be ok......maybe we can help you with it, or bike shop can figure out whatever your problem is.
