dropped the stem on my space pony down 20mm and went to a 10mm longer one and all my back issues disappeared 5mins into the ride. i also felt way more efficient. low and long is where it's at for me.
i used to look at peoples setups (especially commuter and "non-racer") and think to myself there's no way that much drop or length could be comfortable for a daily commuter. but the more i ride, the lower and more stretched out i want to be.
