For anyone digging this up in the future, I got distracted with my new Novara gravel/touring bike I picked up dirt cheap at an REI garage sale. Sorry
After an hour or so of dicking with nothing but the shifting the other night, I got all the gears to work with the Microshift shifters and the 6->7 speed conversion. It was a beeyotch. Getting it to shift into all three up front was relatively easy, getting it to do so and leaving the combinations of gears useful in big and small chainring was not. Truth be told now that I have a new offroad "adventure" bike, this is probably headed for the flip block anyhow (especially as the frame is a smidge small for me), but it was a fun conversion either way!
Still comes in at a nice 25.5# with everything but bar tape. Wish it were a 56 instead of a 54!
