No offense meant. I think mine was just more stuck than using a pin spanner would work on. I'm sure a looser bottom bracket like this could be coaxed with other methods, but mine was tight enough to need the correct tool. I never found one so the Suntour BB is still in the frame. The frame was too crappy to really put much effort into finding the right tool.
