just in case anyone wants a laugh at my expense.....

we played last night in Rosebud, which is at the bottom of the bay (about an hour & a half out of the city), and we ended up getting roped in to packing up the whole PA.

Shortly after we eventually left the venue at 5am (!!!!!!!!!!!), a few lights popped up on the dash (not my car, thankfully); the temperature was a bit high, so we obviously pulled over.

We thought we'd just busted a hose (it was 43 degress yesterday), but the water pump pulley had sheared itself off and was just hanging on the belt!!!!

We told the RACV on the phone that we'd need a tow truck, but they insisted that they couldn't send one out without a service van guy first looking at the car. So, the RACV guy gets there, and the first thing he say is: "mate, you need a tow truck". Unbelievable!!


etc, etc, etc, tow truck, yada, yada, yada.......got home at 7:30am!!!!!!!
