Easiest way is to buy a single speed conversion kit for your freehub, which is basically a set of spacers and at least one cog. These kits are common for Shimano 10-11 freehubs. You remove the cassette and install the cog and spacers to get the best chainline. some kits also come with a chain tensioner if you plan to use this on a bike with fixed dropouts.
