Thanks, I'm hoping they turn out, it will be my first attempt at wheel building, my local bike shop 718 (in Brooklyn) has a workshop I went to to pick up the basics, though I'm sure I'll be checking out some youtube videos and having a pro look them over ... I'm planning to put them on a '71 Kool Lemon Schwinn Sports Tourer, a very smooth riding fillet-brazed chrome-molybdenum frame -- you can see it here :

here's the Kool Orange I cleaned up a bit ...




The Kool Orange has 27" CR18s which aren't bad at all ... with 1.125 Continental super sports.

I'll be using Tektro 559 long reach brakes again on the Kool Lemon to accommodate the 700c wheels. The Kool Lemon's paint isn't quite as nice, but looking forward to another horse in the stable (not that I need one ).
