H + Plus Son Archetype (365cycles)
I saw these on ebay for $58 each -- which is cheaper than the $85 most places are charging ... would anyone have concerns ordering from this seller? Just wondering if there might be a reason they're cheaper from 365cycles?

I'm planning to build them with what I think are Dura Ace 7400s (also from ebay -- used see pix below), auction said for 6-speed freewheel, can I assume they will be 126, it didn't mention ... I know I could always fit in my steel frame if 130, but not likely 135

Beautiful set of 36 hole shimano dura ace hub for a 6 speed freewheel. These have seen very limited use.
If your looking for some for your vintage bike or to have a spare set of wheels for it. These are it!

here's the Kool Orange I cleaned up a bit ...

The Kool Orange has 27" CR18s which aren't bad at all ... with 1.125 Continental super sports.
I'll be using Tektro 559 long reach brakes again on the Kool Lemon to accommodate the 700c wheels. The Kool Lemon's paint isn't quite as nice, but looking forward to another horse in the stable (not that I need one
).

Those look nice. I think the new wheels will give you a lot more useable power, and although the Archetype is a higher rim, the new wheels may end up weighing less. Definitely an upgrade. I have yet to build my first set of wheels, so congratulations for having the inspiration to do it.

It is indeed a B15 Champion Standard (but not Schwinn branded AFAIK), very comfortable, and apparently original 1971 (though was on the Kool Lemon when I got it, the Kool Orange had a plastic BMX unicanitor brevettata) - I bought both Sports Tourers from a guy on Craigslist (apparently they belonged to his parents) ... they were neglected but not beyond hope.
One of the bonuses were 2 period (somewhat beat up) Lafuma handlebar bags with decaleurs.
I also like the B17 (may even be more comfortable), though it doesn't seem as durable or classic.
Hoping the new wheels will be an upgrade, a little curious what difference I'll notice with 700c wheels -- have read here that leverage from the brakes isn't quite as good when on a 27" frame and long reach brakes.

Well, if you are anticipating higher speeds with the new wheels (and new wheel size), you might want to upgrade your brake calipers, but check it out, first, you might be fine.

I might also try to get a Pro Brooks, but I rode one recently and thought it wasn't as comfortable as the B15/17, it may not have been broken in, or maybe was too aggressive?

I'll bet my GB Maes bars on my Grubb are the same ones you are talking about. There's only 4" between the stem where it starts bending. They swoop out, though, so if you measured the bar ends distance, they are 40cm.
I think some Schwinn came with the randonneur style, too.

Have you used one of those stems before? Just an FYI in case you haven't. I had one on a Varsity. I had high hopes for it because they look so elegant. The way the lines flow is just so cool. I powder coated it gloss black and used all new stainless hardware. It looked the biz. Unfortunately it flexed like a wet potato chip. And I was running it slammed ALL the way down. Look up inside and you'll see where the butting stops in the worst possible place. Begging to crack too. Really made me scratch my head why they did that.
Goos luck with the wheels. Should be a great bike when you are done.

Maybe I had a wimpy one.
Because it was bad.They were standard on 77 Varsities too, but only the 26 inch frame. Which was weird.
Yep, 21.1 makes for slim pickins. I too wanted more height, but I bit the aesthetic bullet and went for that "Dirt Drop" or "cruiser" style, which is still manufactured in 21.1.
I've promised myself that if I build up another old Schwinn (likely) that I'm taking a brake hone to the steerer and opening it up to 22.2. Plenty of meat there.
