Thanks for posting an update [MENTION=448961]veloham[/MENTION], I reread the entire thread for the information. Since your initial series of replies a 3ttt Record stem was acquired for my use, the Tomasinni will recieve it shortly. The Cinelli 1A exhibited the dread refusal to tightly clamp my 3ttt Competizione bars. Once I switched to keeping 3ttt stems and bars together the slipping went away, and the same result with the Cinelli items happily occured.

I for one enjoyed the tack this thread took, hopefully the OP didn’t leave out of bewilderment.
