The bearings on the one on my PSV, asploded after only a year of use on the bike.....and I'm a stickler for maintenance and proper adjustment on all my bike components....
Replaced the hubs with an Ofmega CX 32H sealed hubset and they are still going strong since 1986, when I installed them....
I was actually a big fan of the Helicomatic when it came out, because of the cogset swap versatilty, but ultimately, the iffy engineering kinda let it down. for many owners.
