Bikes: roadsters, club bikes, fixed and classic

Twisted AGFA saddle with a stock AO-8 seatpost pushing up, adding undue stress on your perineum. Go out in style with pain.

Bikes: '84 Peugeot PH10LE

I'm still riding an '84 Peugeot with a Maillard Helicomatic rear end. I don't see what people's problems are with them. It's still as good as the day it was new. The secret is to keep the retaining nut tight.

The bearings on the one on my PSV, asploded after only a year of use on the bike.....and I'm a stickler for maintenance and proper adjustment on all my bike components....
Replaced the hubs with an Ofmega CX 32H sealed hubset and they are still going strong since 1986, when I installed them....
I was actually a big fan of the Helicomatic when it came out, because of the cogset swap versatilty, but ultimately, the iffy engineering kinda let it down. for many owners.
