Sambas to rule them all...I rode a brakeless 20" wheel bike before all this fixie madness, and my green suede World Cup Sambas my sister bought me in '96 still rock, even after skidding the hell out of the sole trying to slow down my old 20". They are both incredibly stiff, and incredibly comfortable once broken in. They also have a mean instep for shooting longbows on the soccer field.
