I gave up on Santa a long while ago.

Indulged and bought myself:

- Cane Creek Thudbuster ST
- Montague Rackstand
- Weinmann 519 rim built by JBI under the Wheelmaster brand w/ a quick release hub (so as to make the Rackstand work)

(and a handlebar w/ the wrong dimensions, but we won't mention that)

The one glitch is the suspension seatpost means my Avenir saddlebag won't fit anymore, so I need to find a saddlebag which:

- attaches to the rails
- doesn't have a strap to go around the seatpost
- does have a loop at the back for a light (I like to run two rear lights, one on the rack, the second higher up)
- is black, and plain w/ minimal branding

I've found a few which meet 3 of the requirements, but not having much luck on such bags w/ the loop feature --- guess I'll have to pick one w/ a zipper arrangement which allows me to add my own.

EDIT: managed to find a few, and wound up w/ a Banjo Brothers Deluxe Mini Saddle Bag --- perfect fit, and very secure, and very nicely made (may add a small leather pad to protect it from the seatpost screw).
