The "Goodbye, Farewell, Auf Wiedersein, Goodnight Ride for Mr & Mrs Expat, Their Dawg, and the Ti Tandem" is Saturday 14 Jan 2006, meeting at cnr Howe & Croudace Sts LAMBTON at ~7:00am. Latecomers can meet up on the Foreshore (Newcastle Harbour) near the old tugboat wharves at ~7:30am.
Pace will be cruisey, and the ride will definitely be interrupted by a long stay at some place what sells melted crayons. BYO tissues. Expat, bring the missus and the Ti Tandem. Back to Lambton by 9:30 so Expat can get to work. Who works on a Saturday? Haven't you ever heard of a sickie?
The recovery ride afterwards will be a 2-3hrs of undulations at a sedate 35kmh
