Women, in general, are much less concerned about
bicycle brands than many men, in general, are.
I base that one working in the bike industry since the late '80s and participating in boards like these for over a decade.
Women may engage in such behavior with other types of goods, but none of the women I have ever met online or in the shop are interested in declaring "SRAM sucks" or playing the "Does Trek make good bikes?" game.
