Sometimes (not saying it's the case here) the OP of a thread inadvertently reveals that they are not necessarily very good at reading people, so exploring other possibilities of the situation becomes fodder for discussion.
And after all, what fun would Internet discussion be if we
always took the OP at face value, and
never offered a contrary opinion?
