It's always weird when I got back to the rural US and considered using a train/bus and people think I'm nuts.

Even on decent sized rail (Miami to Palm Beach and Boston to Maine) people insist on picking me up from the airport.

Don't get me wrong, London trains are filthy, expensive and have their own issues, but not this public stigma.


Thankfully, I can jog/run or cycle into work, which keeps things easy.
