I use a sport headset every time I ride. I use a pair by Plantronics, the Backbeat Fit, it is designed to allow ambient noise to be heard and I have no problem hearing the music and virtually all ambient sound. This headset is awesome and very comfortable, I use it around the house and in the car for hands free phone calls. also while I'm riding it lets me know when I have messages or phone calls and Ride with GPS will announce my splits every .5 miles which keeps me pushing. I would recommend these to anyone who likes music etc while riding or running.
