i like grilled cheese on challah with fontina, muenster, and/or havarti. if you can spinach, basil, and tomato in there with lots of garlic, it's beautiful.
i also like making grilled cheese with just cheap-ass store bread, cheddar and a thick layer of ground basil (fresh is good, but i like the effect grinding has on thr flavor...maybe use a mortar and pestle if you have one).
chicken salad with just a wee bit of extra dill, or some extra pickles, on a challah bun with provolone--also amazing.
