A scientist and a politician can give statements on the same issue. One factual by less flowery, the other flowery but complete bs.
I've also always equated one's ability to convince me of anything by their ability to have successful reading comprehension. I haven't stated any beliefs, just observation. But, if I knew what "One factual by less flowery" meant, I'd have an opportunity to agree or disagree with you.
