Anyone who believes bicycles are more efficient in every situation hasn't watched a grand tour race climb with the world's fittest athletes grinding along slowly while tubby old guys dressed up like giant pandas and half naked vikings carrying giant foam rubber hammers trot alongside the cyclists blowing kisses, groping the cyclists and whatever other awful things crazy fans do on grand tours.
(watching the grand tour in person, not so much actively participating in the "advanced cheering")

Really, gravity is only the description of the effects of Maas on Space. In effect, the effort you feel riding up a hill is caused by time slowing down as you get further from the center of mass. Apparently this hurts. Thank God time pulls us back toward Earths’ “normal” time. Something to think about as you attack your next rise.

Maybe it's me, but I've always equated a person's ability to convince me that they have a correct grasp on knowledge in a particular subject, by their command of linguistic skills, which would include syntax, grammar, capitalization, spelling, and punctuation. I don't see any fault in your spelling, so there's that.
A scientist and a politician can give statements on the same issue. One factual by less flowery, the other flowery but complete bs.

I'd rather see the spectators and fans dressed in panda suits and half-nekkid viking suits riding Electra Townies while chasing the marathon runners. Seems fair.

As far as outside temperatures, I like riding when the temps are around the mid 60's to upper 60's. That seems to me the way to stay cool even when the group is pushing the pace.
That and staying in the middle and on the big ring. Would that be an efficient use of my energy?

The OP's post is to a library, so to speak. An online depository of information. He's not selling anything so there's no spamming. And there's no discussion there, only static information, which one can bring back here to discuss if so desired.
But the vigilance in general is appreciated.
