I had a '97 Natchez, which was a straight gauge base model, below the Catalyst. Other than a BB creak that periodically required plumbers tape and cleaning, it was a great frame. I rolled 10's of 1000's of fun miles on it. I would totally consider another one if it became available. I did run 25mm tires with no issues.
