I remember Mcgee being closer to 80 kgs, than the 70 kgs he is now when he was 18, though not quite 80 kgs. So he can lose some weight probably.

In the support crit he was about two thirds of the way back in the pack on Sunday, after getting a fourth in the Friday crit. as riders dropped out, he slowly moved to the back of the field and was yoyoing in the last 5 riders for the last 15 minutes, and dropped off the back for the last 4 laps. Good performance for a 16 year old, but there were other 16 year olds that were in the field. that said, his summer focus must have been on the track carnivals, and he got 4th on Friday.

Walker won the Portarlington stage of the pro field when he was 16 though, albeit a different type of rider.
