Ok, so I have a habit of doing this, silly of me.

I have been looking at a bike in Ebay, well been looking at a few over the last few weeks, but haven’t found much luck around my area.

I found one which is the right frame, looks to be in good nick (hopefully not nicked lol) but it’s a bit of a trek.

The guy had the bike on auction, and was selling it on a few sites, because of the location and my work schedule, I chose to ‘buy it now’. Plus I can’t take the bike on public transport during certain hours.

I asked to add the condition that I would pay on collection so I could see the bike first hand.

I feel that I have committed to buy but haven’t paid upfront. The bike looks like a 2011 model, the guy says it has had servicing recently new chain and rear sprocket.

Maybe I’m in a position to negotiate on price

It’s a Scott Sub 50 hybrid, the buy it now price is £140 and the auction started at £100.
